TPMS Light question
Good afternoon, So I am looking to pick up a set of wheels & tires for winter and am wondering how annoying the TPMS light is on the 228? My previous car (2014 mustang) wasn't anything other than a small orange light that illuminated on the dash. Does anyone have a picture of what the 2 series looks like with the TPMS sensor warning on? I would like to save the $200+ dollars for a sensor that is useless. Any pics would be greatly appreciated

Car gets stuck in comfort or Eco mode when it can't read the tires, not sure about lights and other issues, but I am sure it will let you know all the time. Spend the 200.

Also it's illegal to drive without TPMS in the US for cars fabricates after 2006
not that a cop will stop you and check but still.... you have a crash and insurance finds out and you can be screwed... if you spent 50k on a car don't be a cheapo and buy the TPMS |

And I only have the 228XI so mine was only $32K!! I just have a problem spending $200 for something that is only there because natural selection hasn't removed the people who don't understand maintenance from this world yet haha jk Last edited by 338FREAK; 06-17-2015 at 07:22 AM.. |

Yea I thought about that too, however I check my pressures after every session on the track as well as once a week at home. While I am on the track I am too busy trying not to wreck ehm... I mean getting the best lines than to look at the Tire pressures
