Emergency tire sizing question

I have an m240i RWD and got a great deal on used wheels and tires. Would 250/50/R18 Michelin pilot alpine with BBS 5x120 bolt pattern fit fine on my car and clear m sport brakes? They're coming off an x3.

Thanks in advance!

The rims fitting or not will depend a lot on what width and offset they are. It's hard to say without more information.

The tire fitment is ridiculously aggressive for our cars. They'll be 2.7 inches taller and an inch wider. You could try to stuff them onto your stock wheels, but they'll probably rub and make the handling soft and miserable. You could try it if you really wanted to, but it's probably better just to buy the correct size for our cars, usually 225/40/18.

You can compare using Will They Fit. Use 225/40/18, 18x7.5 et45 for stock.

The magic word was X3. In case no one had noticed before, that is an SUV. Those tires are not meant for a sports coupe in any way, shape, or form.

Good call.
Hey man, one more question. Might end up buying 18 BBS SR's, but would winter nokian hakka 8's fit on 225/40/18 winter tires?
