19" wheel fitment help needed! 35 profile rear?
Thinking to get some Apex wheels: 19x8.5 et35 front and 19x9.5 et43 rear. Would like to run 225/35/19 and 255/35/19 tires. I'm lowered on M Performance springs (only 10mm drop). I don't want to use spacers or touch camber. Will this setup work?
Not sure how much of a difference the 35 profile rear tire will make. Also would 235 fronts and 265 rears be out of the question?

The stock staggered setup is 245/35R18. With 255/35R19 your diameter will be a fair bit (~32mm) higher. With 9.5" and ET43, you'd be pretty flush. That with your high profile makes rubbing quite a high risk. 265s lowered will push that towards definite.
Your speed will read low (by over 5%), which can be illegal. 30 profile rear would be a better fit. If you can get the tyre you want. I have 265/30R19 ET40 9" rear, which is rather extreme. I would prefer a higher offset, say 45, (wasn't available in the wheel I wanted), but I do not rub. My car is not lowered. Front you'll be fine I think. I am running 235/35R19 with an 8" ET45 rim, but I have done the LCA mod which pushes it out a fair bit. |

It is. I like the grip though, it gives me a dramatic improvement on my occasional track outings.
Some pics here from when I installed them: https://www.2addicts.com/forums/show...8#post23526698 The front stance has changed a bit since I installed the control arms. The pic below is pretty current. |
