2. 19x8.5 ET40 & 19x8.5 ET30 are the two offset options closest to what you have for the front. I would be willing to roll fenders if needed. Do you think 40, 30, or 30 with a 5mm spacer would be best.

From what ive read I think 5mm works right? Would less than 5mm be a safer bet? Do those exist?

I highly doubt you will rub with a 265/30/19x9.5 ET44. I have more than 4mm space between my tires and the strut guard. If for some reason you need to, you can cut the plastic housing. Someone here has already done it. It will free up a lot of space.

On the front, the 40 will most likely rub the suspension while the 30 will probably hit your fenders. If you roll your fenders you might be able to get away with 30s, but just guessing. The 40s with 3-5mm spacer would probably be ideal.

Last two questions

1. If for some reason I did rub my fail safe would be a.) cut plastic shock cover back, or b.) sell 265s and go to 255s? (that would look fine on a 9.5 rim and have clearance right?)

2. 19x8.5 ET40 & 19x8.5 ET30 are the two offset options closest to what you have for the front. I would be willing to roll fenders if needed. Do you think 40, 30, or 30 with a 5mm spacer would be best.

30 with a 5mm spacer would be E25. Thats going to be pretty aggressive for the front. If you want to run 235 in the front, ET40 should work without rolling fenders, depending on ride height and tire choice. ET40 w/5mm spacer (ET35) may also work, but I'd probably roll fenders just to be safe.

Right. I meant 40 with a 5 mm spacer! Thanks

Indeed get all three.

I got the FMIC and Enzo tune before my wheels and I would probably do the same again. The Enzo tune transforms the car. The single best mod for the M235i in my opinion.

Agreed!

So it sounds like 235/35/19 on square 8.5" 40et wheels should fit fine?

Exact same specs Im thinking about to ordering.

However, Im lowered on HR Springs though so a little worried. I am willing to roll fenders and run some camber if needed. Will probably stick with 255 in the rear however.

Do they offer a 19x9.5 ET 42... ?
I thought they only offered a 19x9 ET44...

I'd like to do the Dinan drop and M4 LCA at some point. I wonder how that would work out.
Also if 265s rub for some weird reason I'd prob sell and go 255.

Would adding negative camber help or hurt this fitment? Anyone know?

Ok, yea just got off the phone with HRE. That's great that they offer that fitment seems like that offset will be right in the ballpark for squeezing a 265 in. Good catch JM..!! I am also going to be on Dinan springs w/ supplemental ride kit. Hoping to fit a 265 as well... I just wonder weather it would be smarter to go ET44 on 9 with and spacer to make perfect or go straight to ET42 and 9.5. Will a 255 be safe on a 9.5 ET42 w/Dinan drop..?

The LCA will move at the same time as the strut so there is no difference on the inside of the wheel but it should help on the fender side as it will tuck to top in a bit... although the LCA moves the whole wheel about 1 inch further forward

Interesting. Do you know if that 1" forward makes it any tighter or not?

Good question. The look I'd like to achieve as far as wheels and rims is the rubber to be straight in line with edge of rim "flush". Would anyone with some experience be willing to fill in below to give me an idea on 9" vs 9.5" rim? I know the PSS tend to run wide.

19x9 255 works? Stretch/poke/flush
19x9 265. Works? Stretch/poke/flush?
19x9.5 255 Works? Stretch/poke/flush?

yes, fitment is made tighter by movement forward: you're more likely to have rubbing against the fender liner with lower offsets

it was necessary for me to increase offsets (et35->et40) to avoid fender liner interference once I installed the LCAs
