wheels

it just worked out perfectly; looks stunning without having to put spacers on to kick the wheels out... I'm just wondering if BMW sell 442 style anymore...

How's the ride and the handling compared to stock 18 with 245 rear?

How're the wheels working out? Still no rubbing or other similar issues (wear pattern, ride quality, etc)? I'm strongly considering these but am hesitant due to the fronts being 9 mm further out (rear are only 5 mm further out) compared to BMW-recommended offsets. The 442M are by far the nicest wheels I've seen on the M235.

It's a straight swap from a 2014 335i M Sport. TPMS is the only thing that wasn't compatible.

Rear Tyres 255/35/19 (92 Y)
Front Tyres 225/40/19 (89 Y)
No spacers.
you should have dropped 5 on the tyre profile.

35 front and 30 rear to match original rolling diamter.

that's why arch gap is less as you kept the stock.tyre profile but moved up in rim diameter.

Just means the speedo is out.

Check out this website.

Will they fit.com

You,put in stock size and the new size and it gives you poke and speedo error etc.

Your mm is off as you didn't take into account the wider rim as well as the offset.

Front Wheels: 8Jx19 ET36 (p/n BMW 36117852493)
Rear Wheels: 8.5Jx19 ET47 (p/n BMW 36117852494)

These are the specs for the 442 M wheels

Front Wheels: 7.5Jx18 ET45 (p/n BMW 36117845870)
Rear Wheels: 8Jx18 ET52 (p/n BMW 36117845871)

And these the 2series 18"

Fronts poke 15mm more so like using a 15mm spacer on OEM fronts which is acceptable
Rears poke 11mm

That's using a 235/35 and 255/30 tyre size.o

10k miles without problems so far.
Is there anything I should be looking out for?
Will the offset stress the wheel bearing?

442m wheels on M235i

Hi
Wheels look great btw.
Do you notice any handling / performance issues (and mpg)with the larger setup.
Some suggest the bigger diameter slows acceleration and increases understeer.
And how much does it change your speedo reading (not sure how much error the 240i has on standard setup to begin with)
Cheers
