Passenger Headlight Malfunction
Car was involved in a front ender - prior to me owning it. Currently, the passenger side headlight doesn't auto-aim/adapt and the halo's do not work. The low-beam and high beam function as they should, I've pulled every fuse and even searched through numerous wiring diagrams - I'm at a loss. No visible shorts or damage, I've swapped the LED bulbs to the driver side to verify they function, and they do.
Anyone got any experience in this area? Do the halo's not function if the adaptive isn't functioning? It seems to me that's a separate circuit. |

hit a deer last year. the headlight that was replaced got visible moisture in it due to collision center pressure washing too hard....2 days later, headlight malfunction.
my issue was replaced by the collision center, however I did some googling and found that one of the weather seals can go bad and allow water intrusion. these people (I think) were able to fix the issue without replacing the entire $1600 headlight. if you're into tinkering, it might be worth a shot. |
