VRSF Charge pipe (Redesign)

Hi everyone, thought I would share this video about the VRSF charge pipe, boost pipe, and 6.5 intercooler. The charge pipe looks a bit different that the one on the website and previous videos I watched but the set up is basically the same.

I will say that the connection point between the two pipes could have been at a better location or included a longer silicone hose but I eventually got it to hold and have no complaints since.

The boost pipe is in a tight spot but I didn't have too much trouble with it.

The intercooler didn't require any cutting but it is a tight fit. Although the intercooler is bigger than stock I have experienced no turbo lag even without a tune. Enjoy the video!

I really appreciate fmic, charge and boost pipe installation video. Well done on the video and commentary outlining each step involved especially the video quality. I'm ready to do this upgrade myself.

Thank you, I appreciate your feedback. I would definitely say it's a worthwhile upgrade, especially before the plastic one breaks.

If you need anything feel free to leave a comment on the YouTube video as I get notifications from the app. I may be a bit slower to respond here.

Why the redesign

Would you be able to share why VRSF went with this new redesign? It seems like the previous joint location where the hose went would have been better than the new location.

Thanks for taking the time!

I'll make sure we include longer couplers in the future to remedy this issue

Thanks for posting the vid. You make it look easy and I'll be going back to it when Im ready for the install. Does the VSRF boost pipe come with the intercooler?? Unless I'm missing it, I'm not seeing it on their website.

They are sold separately. I got the 6.5 intercooler here's the link:

Let me know if you have questions leading up to your install.

Anyone have opinions on the 5" stepped vs 6.5" stepped intercooler? Not really planning much other than a JB4 or flash tune, but figure while I'm changing the charge pipes, might as well do intercooler. Don't plan on chasing huge power, but maybe a catless downpipe in the future and intake.

Get the 5" for your application, no need to go with 6.5" unless you are running stage 2 power
