So, my 2014 M235i spun a rod bearing somehow at 46k miles and locked up. Has anyone had the dealer replace their engine and can share the cost? My aftermarket warranty leaves me with a huge gap to cover and I'm looking for a good shop around chicago who can do it for cheaper. I'd be willing to transport the car to a nearby state even, thanks

Holy shit I'm going through the same thing at 49k, what did your dealership say? Have you found a motor?
