where/how to mount x overs in the doors?

wheres a good place to fit my focal x-overs?

I mounted mine inside the doors using some industrial-grade heavy-duty velcro. The trick is the x-over needs to go behind the window and the wires have to be routed towards the front of the car so they can clear the window and frame.

I mounted them to the inside of the door skin. Actually in the cavity of the door and behind where the window comes down.

It's better to have the window up if you are adding crossovers to the cavity inside the door. You will want to route the speaker wires toward the front of the car so they go around the window frame.
