kosei k1 m235i?
I’m installing a set of m235i front calipers (340mm) on my car soon and wonder if I can keep running the 17x8.5 kosei k1s I already own. Has anyone test fit these wheels?
I’ve searched and can’t find a clear answer via forums or tire rack. I see some 17s clear the brakes, and others don’t. Usually the issue is the spokes not the drum. The koseis are et40 so more room than stock but who knows. Thanks in advance |

Am running the same Kosei K1 17x8.5 +40 as my track wheels with 245/40-17 but needed a 5mm spacers in the front. May I ask which(length)lug bolts did you go with? |

I’m running apex extended studs but I can’t remember the length. They’re the size recommended for a 15mm spacer per their 255 track fitment guide because I have a set of their 17x9s et52 arc-8 wheels for my track wheels.

Here’s a few pics of the Kosei K1s on my car at a track day last year. I still haven’t gotten around to installing the F-series calipers and rotors. I did do the brake MC upgrade and upgrade the rears to e90 spec though and that had a great improvement to pedal feel. The F-series front have the same effective braking power as the e90 fronts I have by my math so it’s just for a bit of bling at this point.
I’d be interested in selling the calipers and brand new rotors for the right price honestly because my focus is elsewhere now |
