2 series with quad exhaust tips, with custom diffuser

just like to share a customer custom build diffuser.
he got the diffuser from us, and had his shop cutting the hole to fit the quad exhaust tip fitting to it.

Looks nice, is this car a M235i or 228i?

Jesus a quad exhaust on a 228 would be such overkill.

WRXs and Golf Rs run quad tips. They're 2 liter turbos as well. My 2012 WRX had quad tips as well. Excessive? Sure, but no more excessive than a GT350 or Vette running quad tips when two would do.

I think it is a 228i. Lack of rear parking sensors.
Over-compensation anyone? lol

FYI my M235i doesn't have rear parking sensors. It is rolled into one of the option packages I didn't want (didn't want nipples all over my bumpers, or headlight washers either)

Yes and all of that is ridiculously excessive. No fucking way does the WRX need quad tips. To me that's almost as bad as scraping off the "35i" so your car says "M2".

Along with 15 or so M badges, now quad tips on non-M car! Be sure to install the double slat kidney grills too!

How hard was it to remove all the M badges off your 228 Msport?

That's a fair point, but we can talk about how most cars don't "need" things until we get down to just a motor. It's not that black and white, and on the spectrum of "unnecessary", I think quad exhaust tips on a 4-cylinder engine is a bit absurd. Dual exhaust on the 6cyl, not quite as much. But to each their own, just not something I would do. I'd be embarrassed.

PS, nice AR. I just finished building my 9" 300 BLK SBR with a Saker 762 suppressor.

I agree. Quads on a 6 cyl+ are pretty suitable in this day/age. I prefer a singal tip dual exit setup like we have, though. If I see a car with quad tips, then find out it's a 4 cylinder I feel somewhat disappointed and more so when it comes time to hear it rip. I love how our GTI sounds with a DP and muffler delete, but I would never consider running 4x tips out back, because it'll still sound like a 4 pot lol. Golf R has 4 tips yes, but it was manufactured that way so I guess it's "okay", just like an STI or whatever..

I remember when I had my e36 m3 that only had the dual tip single muffler. When the E46 came out with the quad tips, I thought it was cool, even though it was really just a single muffler with four tips.

I post this because I wanted to show what can be done, if u really want and put or mint to it, also had a customer in Asia who wanted to do this in the pass but his shop could not make it for him. they didn't know or wanted to cut the diffuser. by the way I did this also to my old e60 530 long time ago, but I just put e60m5 stock exhaust. what I'm trying to show is don't think in a box, no point making all the cars look like each other, we all like to mod our cars, this is how I started my company by doing stuff to my own cars 1st. at the end its just parts and cars, do what u like to ur own car, learn from ur own mistakes and in joy every minute of it.
time is to short to drive a stock Toyota Prius lmao

my old e60 front x6m bumper rebuild with custom front lip in cf, rear custom diffuser that we later perfect it, then sold for the e60m5 cars, sold 50+ on the m5board.
