Fullscreen CarPlay

Courtesy of Kubax86, I installed fullscreen CarPlay a short time ago. The process was so easy even a biologist could do it (laptop and ENET cable).

Very pleased that I can get various nav programs to work fullscreen.

This is using OEM screen, not some aftermarket add-on.

I have a 2020 m240 with the larger screen. Very interested as well, if it's not cost prohibitive.

Installed today and works great. Couple of questions about video in motion. For DVDs, am I correct that Blu-ray is not supported? For other video, can I play YouTube videos from my iPhone or am I limited to video on a USB stick?

Blueray discs are not supported.

I believe you need to jailbreak your iPhone in order to play Youtube videos through carplay.

Hello … I recently upgraded my 2018 230i convertible without Nav with full screen CarPlay.
I went with Kubax86 @ www.bimmer-remote.com.

All I had to do was buy an Enet cable on Amazon and then download some big files and team viewer. My dude did the rest in about 40 minutes.

It works flawlessly without an antennae as bimmer-remote advised it would. Yay Waze!
