IDrive screen is bubbling
The car was manufactured in December of 2015 and I bought it CPO in June of 2019. Any ideas? Seems like a fairly new car to have issues like this.

CPO should cover it.

I had the exact same problem happen to my 2016 M235i. My warranty had expired, but the dealer still took care of replacing the head unit free of charge as a goodwill repair due to it being a rare defect that they had not seen before.

Same thing happened to me. Looked into replacing just the glass. Not possible as these are glued to the LCD. If you need a replacement mint condition display for ID5/ID6 cars, I have one for the 2 Series.

My '15 M235i had the same issue. Luckily, the CPO warranty covered the replacement - hoping it doesn't happen on the new head unit since I'm now out of warranty
