Has anyone flashed their car like this? By using an obd/Ethernet cable to an adapter that hooks directly to an iPhone with lightening cable (all sold by Kiesmotosports)? You also need to be on the test flight beta. I purchased my code and the materials but I have never flash before and I'm not quite sure how to do it on the phone like this for my first time. Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated.

It works the same as a laptop only a bit slower. It's very straightforward, I've done about a half dozen flashes with the phone without issue. You simply use the OBD2 cable through the lightning adapter. Plug that in before you turn on the car, press the ignition, open the iphone app, enter your login, go maps, and flash.

Its not on beta anymore, download the bm3 app from the app store.

Mine never works even using non beta App and with the static ip and subnet they suggest.

just clarifying the process is
1. Plug in the obd/Ethernet to lightening adapter then into iPhone and put the car in accessory mode

2. Put in airplane mode and make sure IOS Ethernet settings reflect the adapter.

3. Open app. Sign in. Let obd read vehicle info.

4. Put in registration code

5. Put on seat belt

6. Choose OTS Stage 1 93 OCT map for n55 EWG. Press download tune and flash later ? Or just download tune? (If so with LTE or WiFi??)

7. Flash with car still in accessory mode ???

What am I missing help sos

Connect the phone to the OBD, iginition on. Flash the car.

Nothing else is needed

If you download and flash later do you go into offline mode then press flash or just stay in online mode ??
