I believe PJinCA wants to bare witness the fitness. Yeah, MP reworked the maf and wastegate and now the stubborn F10 535 is making 340-50whp and peak about 17psi and holding 13 across the band. We'll dyno tune next week. Lookout tuned F30's...

Any updates on the dyno or are the #'s on the first post still valid?

Any new #'s on FBO pump and FBO e30ish?

Also would like to see a dyno that takes the car closer to redline..

On Wednesday I made 392whp/445wtq on 91 octane. Same dyno, new flash without stacking jb4

Graphs will be posted soon.

As for E30, we didn't have time for it. Our goal is to perfect the 91 octane tune before blending. And I have to say, since working with MP, I've lost urge to run ethanol.

Yeah seriously, not sure if ethanol will make a difference. You might already be reaching the stock turbo limit on 91oct.

Keeps us posted.

Alrighty... here are some logs for the savvy folks
14:23 Log has LOTS of boost for those who want to see high boost
15:16 Log best dyno numbers
16:20 Log of final flash
http://www.datazap.me/u/sc67065/mp-d...log=0&data=1-4 (click the circle arrow thing to cycle through the 3 logs)

Here's one street log I did today. Splashed 2 gallons of leftover E85 I had, don't think it is significant enough though.
Cylinder 1 timing looks excellent to me for the fuel used.

A final note I'd like to make. I know a lot of folks are looking to see high boost numbers. But after spending hours on the dyno, doing pulls, adjusting, logging... boost does not tell the whole story. I guess what I'm trying to say is that there is A LOT more to making good power than just high boost. In fact, in one dyno run when Alex and I tried to stack JB4 Map 6, I was boosting 17-18psi the whole rev range but had the worst dyno run. Timing was also quite poor. I think power was 373whp which was less than my baseline for that day. Nonetheless, I was shocked to boost that much on pure 91 octane.

You're correct ocN55
Where's the dyno?
You make a good point, peak numbers is nothing whats important is area under the curve
But boost & other factors are very important. More boost doesn't mean better like you just explained

Exactly.

If you just use JB4 (like me) it's all about the boost because they can't directly adjust timing with JB4. So only way to make power with just JB4 is turning up the boost to the limit (octane, fuel, turbo).

I assume with your flash they have timing control (this is why your timing looked weird to me earlier) So you're getting close to the stock turbo limits with 91oct and less boost. This is great!

All look good.

The log with the best dyno #'s is running less boost and better timing then your high boost log

Your final flash log show higher IAT = higher ignition. Probably why the Hp/TQ difference.

Trims look really good too since you're running 91 and low boost.

Interested to see what #'s it puts down with some e85, but you might be close to the limit already.

I'll have to check this out soon after I get a few other little things done with the car first.

ocN55 keep me posted i want to see the the top right for Correction Factor and Smoothing as well..
bryan_f22 M235 Dinan Stage3 + Catted DP dyno'ed at 395/428 at the wheels on 93 octane .. Then removed Dinan and added a ECU Flash without adaptation it put down right away 392/448 .. These are peak numbers, but his under the curve numbers are 450 wtq as well which are way better than Dinan's under the curve and smoother curve

Sounds good! Let me know when you're ready to join MP

And yes, my final flash tune dropped some power since it was probably the 20th+ back to back pull on the dyno lol

93 octane is worlds better than California's 91 octane. Sadly, a really unfair comparison.

original flash count was saved during initial bench flash. All the subsequent flashes are not triggering the flash count

I will probably go with the MP flash soon. Probably keep my JB4 for logging and using map 6 w/e85 stack.

Just ordered full M Performance aero package. So once that comes in I have to decide if I want the want to do the full M Performance interior or the MP flash.

MP Flash is cheaper than doing the interior, but I already have JB4 to hold me over. I guess there are worse things to lose sleep over

Looks like you're having some serious timing issues in your latest log on n54.

I looked at the last log you posted here. Seems the timing isn't as bad then, but still not the best. When I first looked at it I didn't really look at all cyl.

Edit: different user. Sorry!
