Dinan Stage 2 Dyno

Hey everyone!

Just got my car dyno'd at a local shop here in south florida. Bottom line is that I am very happy with the results. I know Dinan gets a bad rap sometimes due to its "conservative numbers," but I believe my car is far from that. So to prevent from having a long post about a review of the tune, here are the max numbers: 383.45 whp and 394.33 wtq. My mods are intake, dinan stg 2, MPE, and downpipe. The car is running on 93 octane fuel and is a manual transmission. I'll post a pic of the graph below as well as a video once I figure it out. Thanks for looking!

Did you do a baseline dyno run before adding the stage 2?

Unfortunately no, this is my first dyno of the car. Although, i've seen a dyno with just stage 1 and their numbers were 330 whp and 352 wtq. Hopefully that helps!

It does not, I live with the CEL light. I'm not bothered too much by it!

How's the downpipe sound with the MPE? I currently have the MPE, afe intake, and Bms stage 1. Car is running so good right now but the stock downpipe is the weak link and I'm really thinking about a cattless dp and just keeping the stage 1 and living with the cel.

The sound is fantastic! There is quite a big difference between just the MPE and the MPE with a downpipe. It's a gorgeous sounds and definitely attracts some (positive) attention. With that being said, you toggle into comfort mode and while cruising around you will never really notice its there. But when you get on it or drive spiritedly there is a big difference.

Great numbers man. I just got the Stg 1 on Saturday and will be upgrading to Stg 2 as soon as I get the dinan intake!

Btw - I spoke with dinan and they are in development for an upgraded FMIC and Stg 3 to perhaps release later this year!!

Thanks! Yeah I wonder as well. Maybe someone on here will get some dyno runs in on just the tuned car.

Question on this - was this dyno on the same dyno and on a M235i? Also was this stock other than stg 1?

oh and are your DPs kittyless?

This info was from just randomly searching the forums. I believe it was on a 435i or 335i, can't recall.

And my dp's are indeed kitty-less

Thanks!! It is, but I'm still very satisfied with the end result. The #'s exceeded my expectations to be honest!

Whats the difference between your first and second run? The DP is about ~15whp.
