Smile 0-60 in 4.0s!

i installed the manhart tune a couple days ago and just logged a 0-60 run in 4 seconds flat! the car is awd and otherwise stock except for the mpe and some cosmetic mods. with the dinan my record was 4.3s so this is a noticeable improvement!

I plan on sharing a more extensive review of the manhart box when i get a chance.

Really looking forward to this. I am still undecided on a tune vendor.

74 MPH on Boston Post Road, huh? Where did you manage to pull that off without getting pulled over... and not hit a massive pothole .

I've been thinking about a tune for my M235. Have you been happy with the results so far? I'd love to be able to experience the results first hand!

Took me a few tries to figure it out too. I've only used it for 0-60 times so far, you have to start the app and begin the recording while still driving, come to a full stop and then accelerate to 60 for it to record the 0-60 time. Afterwards you can review and analyze your run, it's really a great app considering it's free!

It was late at night so the roads were empty, plus I have a radar detector which helps alert me of any lurking cops. I did have to do a few survey runs before hand to make sure I wouldn't hit any potholes. I don't recommend it but I was dying to see the improvement over the dinan tune.

So far I love the Manhart, I've only put about 300 miles on it since the install but I'm absolutely loving it. Like I said I plan on doing a more extensive review in the coming few days.

Honestly I have no idea about the comparison to a vbox. I had read people were having good success with this app and it's all I've been using so far. The app only works when it's plugged into the Idrive so I would assume it's pulling the actual speed values from the car. Anyone know how accurate this app is?

I did upgrade from the stock run flats to Michelin AS3s after blowing two of the run flats within less than a week!

That is awesome stuff! The best I have seen last summer with the aFe Scorcher box was 4.4 seconds. Although mine is rear wheel drive automatic. The AWD is thunder off the line.

Wow that's huge improvement! Now go ahead and put the ER Catted Downpipe and get ready for some tire spin hehe

I don't know if I'm right, but you might be the first M235i customer in the Americas with the Manhart tune. When I was thinking on purchasing that unit, I was told by Manhart that they didn't have any M235i customers in this continent yet.

Yes as far as I know they have not sold any units in the Americas. They were concerned about any issues arising with the U.S. version of the car so I agreed to test it on my car.
