Help identify this leak
I have a 2015 BMW M235i that I have owned for about 6 months. I decided to take off the plastic engine cover to estimate how hard the spark plug change would be, as I would have to do that soon. That's when i saw this mess. Any idea what is causing this leak? Its slightly damp and i cant see any pooling. Any help is appreciated!

Try posting into the f30 forums, much more traffic.
As for spark plug change, did it for the first time myself a few months back. As long as you have the right tools it's not difficult whatsoever. |

I’m ignorant, but it looks as though the oil has been atomized. Ran the engine with an unseated spark plug...
I’m sure a tech can figure this out in a second. |
