Try getting an OBD reader that shows the sensors that are ready. Compare that to state inspection laws. All my sensors came back ready, so I passed

In case you weren’t previously aware, California is a state that measures particulates from the exhaust as well as OBD. Not sure if the intention is to pass smog. In this case the mini cat won’t help outside of the CEL.

That's what I'm thinking of trying next...but not for a while.
This past weekend, I threw the stock downpipe back on and passed emissions (of course). I'm not in any hurry to swap the Wagner catted DP back in until I update my post on the BMS forum to ask if the JB4 OBDII cable could have caused the F12 fuse in the FEM to blow. Looking at the printout from my emissions test, it looks like there's more to it in my state than just having sensors showing ready. |
