It looks like there should have been a 3rd vent opening that they messed up on.

I just love how anything other than stock or German is frowned upon in the forums.......

It's your car OP. Do what you want because you like it instead of getting approval from the "experts".

If your car is highly modded or will be in the future then the vents would serve their intended purpose and it wouldn't be "rice". The fact that there are a ton of people on the forums that have parts from nations that eat a lot of rice is kind of hypocritical but that's none of my business. Who freakin cares?

End of the spiteful rice rant from a Filipino rice eater.

Haters don't want to spend 1200.00 on a CF hood so call it rice or ugly.

(see the topic of the manhart wide body kit copy with everyone hating on it until Manhart said its our kit)

If Vorsteiner made it, they would all be stroking to it.

Do you... its your car.

^ This...sounds so dumb to call something "rice" to begin with. People should worry about themselves and their own cars instead of worrying about what others choose to do. Personally, I think the hood looks pretty sick but i'd like to see it on a few other 235's (especially on BSM) before i'd even consider it on mine.

I've always thought rice-y meant garishness without practicality. At least that's how I define it.

I like the hood.

Ha, OP, I was going to post a link to another thread that has the tuningwerk hood as an alternative, but then I realized that you has started that thread too. Unfortunately I can't afford to spend that much for either hood. But, for what it's worth, I vote tuningwerk. They may have the best looking overall kit on the market.

For those of you interested, here's the link to OP's other thread with the tuningwerk hood http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1233115

I'd love to get either this or tuningwerk but it's a bit steep in pricing.

Magnatuning offers a carbon fiber hood with the power dome it's around $1200
Only thing is they are out of Romania I believe, they quoted me $300 for shipping not including insurance so I'm guessing all together close to $1500 and another thing is that it's shipped to the nearest International Airport not directly to your house.

Does it actually require hood pins cause I don’t see any but it shows on site that they are needed?
