probably a stupid question, but here it goes: If the law says that 70% of light has to go through, does that mean that any tint 30% and higher is legal?

No, it means only tints 70% or higher are legal. Lower percentage tint = darker.

I did 20/35 on my 135i... Live in Dallas, so Tinting is a MUST. Gets hella hot in the summer without it... I got ceramic tint from Earmark car audio. They do a great job.

Thanks for the info, that kind of sucks though, 70% isn't very dark at all. Looks like I'll be riding dirty

Just picked up my AW w/red interior. Had 20% tint on all windows, perfect.

I had AW on my first 135…I am beginning to wonder if I should have followed suit on my M235…my BSM will be here on Wednesday...

I've seen both in person, the BSM is nice, but the AW just tops it.

I've never had my car tinted, so I'm wondering if getting the windows tinted at 20-35% would compromise the visibility at night? Experienced owners please chime in. Thanks.

NiÃ±o is the man at Umbra he does a great job but he is always busy !!! He is definitely one of the best in town !

They told me a week or so notice for a weekday appointment and 2-3 weeks to get in on a Saturday. They've got wifi so I'll just do a work from home day during the week.

We're you planning to leave your mirrors stock or go CF or black vinyl maybe? Would love to see some pics if you do I've got MG waiting for a boat and will tint for sure, prob do something with mirrors too. Sweet looking ride though!
