In my opinion.. you should, but certainly do not need to. Non factory tip just looks better. Autoplus diffuser stick out a bit so your stock tip looks shorter. I bought the //M chrome tip and adopter to replace the stock black tip. Another option I consider was - pull out the stock tip a bit , this will just slide out . The factory tip is held by three spring like metal clips.

Anyone have trouble installing this diffuser? I can't get the holes to line up underneath the diffuser. Did anyone have to drill new holes?

I just purchased an autoplus diffuser from member on forums. It's sitting in my place till I find time to install. First impressions tho it looks amazing! Sides are painted alpine white and the center is gloss CF. Will post review and pics later on when I do the install. Let me know if you have any questions .

Here it is. 10mins to install, very simple and the fitment is perfect. I had to wrap the reflectors gloss black. They are the IND diffuser gray but I wish I had the alpine white ones. Kinda like the the look of the black but may swap them for AW.

Well I have to say I am very fortunate that this went up for sale on the member sales thread and I was in the market for exterior bits. It also happens to come exactly as you see it. So, no painting and near brand new condition as the previous owner never installed it. I consider myself lucky with this purchase.
