Cosmo Racing Short Shifter

While looking at short shift kit options for the 2 series, I came across something peculiar. Cosmo Racing (which I've never heard of until today) apparently makes a short shifter for the F22. I can't find any info online about this kit, apart from one or two install guide videos on a 220i. It's also remarkably cheap at $120, compared to the $400+ for Turner or other reputable brands. Does anyone have experience with this part? I'm interested purely due to how cheap it is; I might just buy it and be the guinea pig if no one on the forum has tried it before.

Never heard of them either - but remember cheap and quality, are rarely mutually inclusive.

It needs more than a lever to shorten the throw... that looks to be just a shorter rod. A short shifter will modify the carrier so the "ball" sits higher.

That might be what that blue piece does, sit inside the OEM socket? I'm not 100% sure.

From the install video, it looks to me that you're right about the blue piece. Hard to tell.

The price is good but it isn't a terribly fun DIY job to see if it fits or not..

I'm grateful to have gotten in with the Rogue group buy when it was going on, it's great. The factory throw is so long.
