This is the module you need to upgrade your BMW with NBT stereo system to wireless Android Auto or Apple Carplay. I had this installed in my 2016 M235i and it worked great. Was able to wireless connect my Android phone to the system and use Waze, Google Maps, Sirius Radio, etc through the OEM system. Is rather easy to install if you know how to take the panels around the radio off. Does not require any wiring as it is all plug and play. Photos are from the ad on Amazon. Only selling as I sold my car and the dealership required me to remove.

Note Amazon ad says this works with BMW X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6 series NBT systems.

does this one allow you to use the factory MIC or u haft to use there's with android auto? also does this one require you to run the wire to center console to plug into the aux or its done thru the harness behind the stereo? thanks

I've always used this with Andriod Auto so I can't confirm 100% but the OEM BMW mic seems to still be used for calls as my call quality never changed when I installed this. I believe to use Andriod Auto voice commands it used the phone's mic. I do know there is no additional mic to install. The wiring harness in the back is all you have to plug in for the sound to come through the aux. No need to run the wire to the center console. No noticeable difference in sound quality when running through Android Auto or the OEM radio. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
