2018 M240 xi with standard Hi-Fi Rear Deck Speaker
I installed the JL XD 600/6v2 using the Technic add an amp harness. At this time i also went with the Technic ASD harness and dynamat to the chassis up to the rear seats. For the front doors i went with the Focal IFBMW-S and purchased the BMW HK window sails. I added dynamat to the surrounding speaker mount location. Completely plug and play system for the front doors with no spacers or cutting factory wires. There were no problems with not having a separate wire for the tweeter as the IFBMW-S coming with in-line crossovers. For the rear deck i tried the Focal IFBMW-C but they did not fit, not even close. I then purchased the JL C5 400cx, the JL C5 0.75 ct tweeter and the JL AUDIO C5-525-XO. I found a used pair of BMW Rear Deck Tweeters on ebay for $35.I plan on removing the tweeters from their housings and popping in the JL tweeters. I've already mounted the JL C5 400's with 3 screws. I've also ordered the rear deck grills for an HK sys which cost about $30 each new. I'm setting the JL amp frequency roll offs to 300hz for the front and rears and am debating whether to leave the under seat woofers set to 80hz or 150hz. I plan to upgrade the under seat woofers with the focal IFBMW-sub v2.

Update to 2018 F22 Hi-Fi (non HK) Rear Deck Speaker Install
Finalized the replacement of the 4" oem, full range speakers with the JL C5 400 CM, the matching JL C5-075ct and JL AUDIO C5-525-XO 2-WAY PASSIVE CROSSOVERS. I set the roll off frequency to 300hz, hi-pass for these rear speakers, 150hz high-pass for the front Focal IFBMW-S and 300hz low pass for the stock under seat woofers. Using a digital multimeter i dialed in the output voltage to 17.3v. Unfortunately, the OEM HK speaker grills wholesale for $80 each so i can either mount the tweeter to the top of the non-HK grill or wait until i can find a used part. It looks like the oem HK grill was revised for '17-'18. The correct part # 51467351693 and 694 for the HK grills are I've also included some pics of the JL XD 600/6v2 wire routing.
