Driving in "S" Mode

Can I drive everyday with the shifter to the left in "S" mode as long as I don't constantly gun it and REV too high?
I like the increased throttle response and lower gears it keeps you in. Sometimes Sport mode feels to jerky for city commuting but I find Comfort mode with the shifter to the left is a nice middle ground.

I don't see why it would worse for the car. You're probably shifting less than when the computer is making the decisions.

The OP didn't indicate that he/she is manually shifting, in fact, based on context in appear not.

Yes, the constant higher REVs that the "S" mode produces assuming your are not manually shifting.
