We had that R32 - the purists pissed all over it but I loved the damn thing. 2294/5000. I got more compliments on that car than anything else I have ever driven.

98 Camry
07 VW GTI 12 Acura TL 17 M240 (current) Camry was insanely reliable. bought at 48k miles and sold at 140k. no issue. GTI thought me what the driving fun was. TL was a big mistake. (good car but not for my taste) Loving M240. Best car ever owned. |

1972 Triumph Dolomite 1850
1967 Austin Healey Sprite (MkIII) 1984 Fiat X1/9 1500 1977 Toyota Corolla (Mk1) 1979 Chevrolet Chevette (the only automatic I’ve ever owned) 1984 Chrysler Laser (the worst car in any measurable way, I have ever owned) 1988 Nissan Pathfinder (Mk1) 1990 Honda Civic Si (Mk2) 1996 Nissan Pathfinder (Mk2) 2000 BMW 323Ci (E46) 2003 VW Jetta Estate (MkIV) 2006 BMW 325i (E90) 2007 BMW Z4M (E85) 2010 BMW 135i (E82) 1998 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 2DR 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek 2012 Caterham R400D - will never sell this car, my son gets it when I can’t drive anymore, the only car I’ve ever owned that isn’t a year round daily driver. 2016 VW Golf R (MkVII) - my wife’s current daily driver. 2017 BMW M240i (F22) - my current daily driver, doesn’t matter how much snow we have. My top five list in order of preference is Caterham R400D, Fiat X1/9, BMW Z4M, BMW M240i, Austin Healey Sprite. My bottom five in order of dislike is Chrysler Laser, Subaru XV Crosstrek, Chevy Chevette, Jeep Cherokee, Nissan Pathfinder (Mk2). I think we keep cars a reasonable period of time, my wife used to say we don’t keep them long enough, until my son had his 40th car last year at the age of 27. A few years ago he got a letter from the provincial government telling him he needed to get a dealer licence if he sold another car that year, as he had sold 8 in the first 9 months of the year. Not a case of buying and selling them to make money, just that he was bored with the vehicle he had. He has settled down though, only 4 personal vehicles last year, from what I can recall.
