These chaps are spot-on (except for thinking Long Beach Blue is the best BMW blue ever.. it's not by a long shot). Excellent review. Look at the friggin' smile on their faces! They literally can't stop. Says it all, doesn't it?
I will also add that I am quite surprised at how playful it looks in the corners, despite it being a xDrive model. You just can't go wrong with a 2-series in any flavor...although I'll always prefer mine with RWD and a 6-speed if given the choice.

"Despite it being an xDrive," which seems to echo every other sentence from the reviewers. I'm an xDrive owner and will not be relegated to second class status, damn it!! Joking aside, there are those of us--for their own reasons--do prefer the xDrive, not to devolve this into another RWD vs AWD thread...

Plynth et al,
Agreed, another thread on the merits of RWD v AWD is not needed. In my Unicorn world, a 6M RWD would be ideal, but I have a 8A AWD car for pragmatic reasons here in New England. The way I figure it (I learned this from my father) is it not what you drive, but how you drive that make the difference...

Love the review too. I usually drive in Sport + mode without using the paddles. From this review I should be doing so for even more fun

If you like drifting and playing with the tail out, the x-drive isn't the way to go. But I found the x-drive to be awesome, the grip is amazing! I still got a kick in the ass, very rear drive biased on throttle and satisfying.

Another AWD fan here. Ordered my car in SoCal with the option, otherwise if not available, I would have bought a Golf R, or Mustang GT. I don’t want oversteer in my daily driver, four wheels spinning with the summer tires works for me.

I had just posted the same review when I noticed op beat me to it. Mine is AWD which was not a must in my car search but I thought it couldn’t hurt at all driving it up the gravel road to our cabin in the mountains. It’s done great with no tires breaking traction even in tight turns. I do worry about that hard angled edge of the M bumper though. I’m terrified it is going to clip a large rock.

I just noticed the smaller rear headrests (see at 10:22 in the video)- I would love those on my 2018 convertible. Mine are too big and can't be removed!
