M235i Exhaust Options

What is the loudest exhaust for our cars that is not the muffler delete? Or is the muffler delete tolerable for daily driving in combination with the catless downpipe?

I got the M pack exhaust, and I mean, the sound is so clean! I would consider saving your money and just adding a 4" decatted downpipe. I'd think you'd enjoy the sound.

I have a question. What is a decatted downpipe? Does it mean there will be no code comparing with catless downpipe?

Thank you for your reply. Does it mean JB4 is the only option to clear any code if we go with decatted set up?

From what I gather JB4 no longer does that.

You're looking for MHD or BM3 tune.

i have armytrix and I love it. I think fabspeed straight is the loudest I have ever heard on a m235. But the guy finally get rid of it and switch to armytrix. You will get tired odthe loudness someday buy a nice sound exhaust never. But if you like mad loud. Go fabspeed and a catless

your asking a question that cant be answered.

First. Do you still have the stock mini resonator? Take that out. cattless dp, no resonator and stock muffler should be loud enough.. If not PM me, i have an ARK setup for sale, A fabspeed delete.

REMUS catback + downpipe is very aggressive, nothing over this tone level will be unbearable

Is your Armytrix setup have the valvetronic system? Noob question I feel like but im not sure. That would be good If you got tired of being loud for a period of time. just turn it on quiet.

I had a catless downpipe installed and the batting removed from the stock back box and it sounded basically stock with the windows up and radio on during normal driving. With the windows down or cracked you could definitely hear it more, VF burble tune helps there haha. I had the Dinan res delete installed a couple weeks ago and it was (went back to stock for emissions) very loud! The stock resonator is tiny but it actually makes quite a difference, especially inside the car. Dinan res delete and a catless downpipe would likely be loud enough with stock back box!

Muffler delete and catless downpipe is NOT tolerable for daily driving. You will regret that pretty fast.

My daily has the following setup: Fabspeed High-flow DP + Dinan muffler. No obnoxious drone or excessive raspiness but just loud enough for me to enjoy climbing the revs plus I think its one of the few exhaust mufflers for our cars that has a "deeper" sound to it, Armytrix and even the MPE are to raspy for my taste.
