I know it's not the same car, but the inspiration was how it's done on my co-worker's Mustang. |

I'm getting my center section on my diffuser wrapped an anthracite color similar to the color of the stock diffuser. I'm leaving the finned section and upper section unpainted. I think it should contrast well with my estriol blue m235i.
Should be done in a week or so

Thanks for posting pics! Looks good. How much did it cost you, if you don't mind me asking?
If I ever pulled the trigger on this diffuser, I wanted to do what you did, except flip-flop the colors (blue where black is and vice versa). |

I had the front splitter (also two-tone), rocker blades (estoril blue), and the rear diffuser done for $750 at the collision repair shop recommended by my local BMW dealer. Only took them a day too!

That's a great price, especially when compared to IND's rates.

I bought an aftermarket MP rear diffuser and I’m contemplating how I want it painted. Strongly considering the paint scheme used by IND on their website, but can’t find any good pictures of it installed on the car for me to hunker down on a decision.
Anyone with an AW with the diffuser just painted on the top quarter with the rest of it left matte black (like in the IND product page) installed? Please share pictures! Thanks! |
