Saw a fellow 2 series getting towed today. I've been there before (twice), so I couldn't help but wonder what the issue might've been.

Lol man i can relate. Wish i did mine sooner. On a not so popular note , i have also done the removal of the clutch pedal assist spring. I personally like the heavier clutch pedal feel but, again, it does make it “heavier”. I prefer this vs how it felt before. Gives a more precise feel of engagement in my opinion.

Yeah. I wasn’t sure either, but (especially from the driver’s side) it was just so much plastic, before. I like this much more.

I took my warning labels off it took a lot of rubbing alcohol and scraping.

Did a little upgrade maintenance on the 240 today. I went with a fresh cabin air filter, tossed an AFe dry filter under the hood, and swapped the air intake hose for the silicone Burger version. I must say I am absolutely SHOCKED at the difference... By that I mean absolutely zero difference

Search gooogle or instagram for Venoxy. I had mine custom designed.

Their website is not listing F2x platform yet, mine were the first, but they have the templates for F2x now.

I contacted him on Instagram.

Pretty cool.

How hard was the install? Probably sorta tedious but worth it?

That looks great. Also curious about the installation difficulty.

It is not that hard, it's only held in by clips. I will make a DIY thread about seeing there is interest in it.

finally got around to upgrading my charge pipe. there was oil mist around the top and bottom of it, so i expected some inside the pipe. there was none. dry.

oh, no seals on either end. no wonder.

PO put the stock charge back in without seals!

also changed my transmission fluid and diff fluid (43k). Both were pretty clean.

Installed my Dinan mid pipe.

Not nearly as loud as i was expecting, but a great upgrade from the stock set up.

josh

EDIT: After a few days, the car sounds better. I am very happy, as the car sounds like it should have from the factory.

This is a great mod not many mt guys do. Once you do though, you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner.

Congrats and enjoy
