Kudos for undertaking a project like this. I'm sure it sounds wonderful. As an audiophile, I may sound a little critical, but I respect what you've done; this is just my personal taste and opinions. I'm always interested in door pods, but I'm not a fan of how they integrated the speaker pod into the door card map pocket. If it were me, I'd have had them take that entire bottom piece off and make one long speaker piece, just for aesthetic purposes. I seriously considered having pods made, but the cost/effort was not worth it to me, and I was afraid I'd kick them when getting in/out of the car.
Also, I really like the OEM sail panel placement of the tweeters vs on the A-pillars. I had a hard time tuning and dealing with reflections, as well as less width of the soundstage, when I've had tweets in pods on the A-pillars. In any case, I'd still love to hear your car!
