Ideal Tire Pressure Michelin Pilot Sport S4 (NRF) on M240 CV??
My 2019 M240i Convertible RWD + MT came with M Performance 405 wheel & tire set.
The tires are high-performance run-flat summer tires and the inflation pressure values in the manual are: For speeds up to 100mph/160kmh / For speeds above 100pmh/160kmh (with high-speed tuning feature) F: 225/35/R19 88 Y XL RCS - 38psi 42psi R: 245/30/R19 89 Y XL RCS - 45psi 49psi I put a CUSTOM WHEEL & TIRE SET ON with MICHELIN PILOT SPORT 4S NON-RUNFLATS F: 245/35/19 R:265/30/19 The Michelin tires have a max pressure of 50psi and I needed to find out the correct pressure settings for these tires as the run-flat tires have much stronger sidewalls and the above values are too much for the non-runflats. I contacted Michelin and they gave me the values up to 100mph/160kmh but refused to give me info for above 100mph/160kmh, nor could I get any info from BMW so far... the Michelin values are 3psi lower for the non-runflats than above values, so I am inferring that the values for above 100pmh/160kmh are also 3psi lower, but For speeds up to 100mph/160kmh / For speeds above 100pmh/160kmh (with high-speed tuning feature) F: 245/35/ZR19 93 Y XL - 35psi (39psi) to be confirmed R: 265/30/ZR19 93 Y XL - 42psi (46psi) " Last edited by Think-U-R-Mario-Andretti?; 12-04-2019 at 01:35 PM..
