I find it interesting to look at the sales figures and trends. Last year the 4 Series was doing surprisingly well, but this year the 2 Series is doing well. For me, especially as a very happy former MINI owner, I find the MINI stats interesting as it appears the MINI Cooper Hardtop, Convertible and Clubman are struggling to find buyers. Had my R56 MINI Cooper S been a convertible, I'd probably still be driving it. I really enjoyed my MINI. That said, I wasn't terribly impressed with the "new" MINI which came out a few years ago and never really considered a new MINI Convertible when it came time to replace my MINI.

I can certainly understand the Countryman growth, however. We bought one in December, liked it so much, we just bought a second one in March, so one of those numbers is ours! Engineering by BMW and outstanding assembly by Nedcar in the Netherlands....both great cars! Has more "character" than platform-mate X1.

Agreed. I was not a Mini fan until I rode in 'stick's. Nice car. It's still a "Chick Car", but it's nice.

Nice!! Isn't it the best feeling? Mr. Winter has been very fickle this season, too...

Countdown is on, T minus 20-25 days! Still have snow on the sides of the roads, gravel/sand everywhere. Sweepers are out, though!!
