Wait, I thought the N55 had 300hp and 300tq? Where are the extra gains coming from?

Good idea--but I just looked those up, and there were only 20' options...and my God are they expensive...

Hoping that's not the case for the M235

It's basically the N55 plus the BMW MPPK--which is a mild tune that adds the ~20 BHP and ~30 FT/LBs of torque...

Do you detune the M3/4 engine or try and squeeze 50 MORE horses outta the N55?
With the specs the M235i has I highly doubt there is room for a M2.
I tend to agree... but there's always room for a limited run, lighter, slightly more powerful (360hp, perhaps), better handling (this is the important ingredient) 2 series.

The M235i is nice, but a real "M" car it is not.

Looks like I'm not getting much done this morning...

Here we go again with the confusion over the exhaust. 1st pg. notes •Specially tuned exhaust
So do we think that will be similar to what we got with our 335is or will it be the true M Performance exhaust that the 135is received?

Fail.

It is too narrow compared to the concept.

NO AWD.

Car will get eaten up by the Mercedes CLA45 AMG...

0.3" narrower than an E46 M3 (and what concept are you talking about anyway?). Xdrive will be offered.

How about you do a bit of reading before replying.

it looks good... but i just wish they made the roof look more like a coupe. it's too much like a short, two door sedan

I also really don't like the rear of it. the tail lights are awful.

From the window back including the back end... compared to the concept.. look at the pictures of the concept/sketch... (in orange)... the front is nice... from the end of the window back is skimpy looking.

The concept pic would of kept it wide and proportionate, looking like a baby 6 series... (even more so than the 4)... and did they confirm xdrive will be offered?

Specs are impressive but the rear looks weird. I liked the 135i rear way better than this one

I have been using Google Translate.

The 19' wheel options in here are two tone, and black. Interesting...wonder if the US will get the same or different options...

If they were options, then yes prices would be lower, but they are after delivery M Performance parts so you buy them separate from the car. They'll be expensive I'm sure.

I'm pretty sure if you purchase M Performance parts in sets of 3 you get a subsidized discount. You need to check with your CA

How much less does the n20 weigh than the n55? A 228i M Sport may be the hot ticket. And if the diff is the same size, the add on lsd would work
