secret menu!
The secret menu kicks butt! I use it every morning, to see when I can start mashing the accelerator. I goto the Temperature section, and then select Oil Temps. You want to be at least 85C before driving aggressively...

or just buy an obd reader /w bluetooth on ebay with some spare change and have the torque app hot buttoned on your mobile phone. I get an additional 5, certainly more useful gauges (oil temp, turbo, rail temps, etc) and a 0-60mph timer at my disposal in under 10 secs of booting my car up. saves you having to 'cheat code menu' your instrument cluster each and everytime.

If you use an app like Bimmercode and a coding device I guess it stays permanently changed? I just went to try this out, it's very cool, I wanted a digital speedo and there it was all along!
