Question Pricing

It made a big difference for me on my 2011 E82. I won't ever buy another BMW from someone else--he's great...
New to this thread and on the cusp of my first BMW purchase. It sounds like you guys have some serious insight on who to deal with and how to get best pricing. Where is David and is there a thread or place to get advice? I give serious appreciation to your help.

There definitely isn't much more to see.... really quite amazing how many pics have been leaked on this release. We do need to see more angles of the interior though.

Is the interior any different from the F20? The layout is beautiful, my only concern would be quality of materials relative to the F30

I've never been 100% in love with the front end of my e82, but I'm really digging the M235i. Too bad about that hood line. I heard somewhere this is to comply with EU pedestrian crash standards? Why can't people just stay out of the road?! I'm not sure how I feel about the interior though. Doesn't seem as "clean" as the e82. I guess I'll have to see it in person.

I've noticed that you have a strong disliking for gun metal wheels...

I may have to go aftermarket, or else go with what I hope will be a BMW performance option.

David is at Steve Thomas BMW in Cali--but you can also pick a car up at his former dealership in Baltimore if you're on the East Coast. EDIT--just saw yo're in SF--his current dealer is where you wanna be.

EDIT #2 here is the contact info: Need a quote?..David Aviles Email link | T.805.482.8878 ask for David Aviles

If you search for GOLFFFR on the forum, all David's contact info is there.

He is a good dude and BMW enthusiast. He has a Fire Orange M3.

They can be cool, in small circumstances.

I just prefer the bright silver finish that I have on my wheels now--most cars don't have it, and it looks awesome when the car is rolling by.

Judging by the pic of the 220d with silver wheels, they'll exist in regular silver. Of course I don't know if you can order the M235i with them that way yet. Wurth silver is a match to the BMW finish though, should you be adventurous.

Oops, not the same wheel as the M235i.

When our South African friend posted the stuff from the BMW config. there, it showed the current wheel in a silver and a gunmetal. I just can't tell from these pics which way it is...

So this interior shot is not the M235i right? (different steering wheel)... I'm excited to see the alcantara interior that we saw on some of the tester cars. Pricing coming soon, can't wait!

At least in that interior pic, the seats look like they might be thinner than what our E82 had, allowing for more effective space in the back, which would be very nice.

I would love it if we were to get the cloth option here...

Same is true on the F30. We'll also likely get stuck with the sunroof on the M235i and if you want zenon or LED (if available) lights on the 228i, you'll likely have to package it with the sunroof there too.

tl;dr - BMW USA likes sticking us with stupid stuff that we don't really want.
