Does the VO coding for privacy glass do anything with mirror dimming curve?

Subject says most of it, but I'll explain further.

Like many, I've tinted my windows (although not super dark).

This throws off how quickly the rear view mirror reacts to lights behind - the sensor compares the incoming light from behind with the brightness level from the front of the car, and since the tint cuts down on the light level, the mirror doesn't change as much.

I know that in Europe, there's a VO/FA value indicating that a car has the factory privacy glass / tinted rear windows.

My speculation is that when you code in this item, the "darkness curve" for the auto dimming mirrors may be changed.

I'm trying to figure out if (a) anybody knows if this is accurate and (b) what the VO / option code for privacy glass is.
