I'm in South Jersey near Philly I see 1 or 2 other people that have 2 series, one has a 228 and another M235, Always a bit of fun when you end up cursing along with one of them going the same way.

I rarely saw them when I drove to work. Since Covid has changed my job to remote, on the rare times I go for long drives I still don't see them. I am in South NJ outside Philly.

2 series as a whole, once or twice a day. 235/240 probably 3-4 per week here in Boston

When I'm in Oregon, all I see are 3 series cars and lots of X3s and X5s. In Palm Springs, again, lots of 3 series, but also 4, 5, 7, and an occasional 8. I've only seen one other 2 series and it was a 230i, not a 240i, like mine. I love the car and feel very special driving it.

2 Series aren't exactly uncommon round here, but they're not two a penny either. To work out how many 2 Series in total are driving around the UK, you'd need to tot up the numbers registered for each model variant (manual and auto) on https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk. Taking the M240i as an example, at last count there were 4800 8ATs on the UK's road and a further 452 6MTs. There were 4000 218d manuals and 2000 autos. That's out of a total of around 35 million cars .

I saw an old 1 series on the interstate yesterday. I thought it was a 2 until I closed on it and saw the proportions. He nearly ran into the center barrier looking over at my 240. He exited with me and followed me to the gas station to talk. Cool kid, totally enamored with the 240. He had bought the 1'er new and still loved it. I always thought the proportions were a little off on those, but personnel preference.

On the WA Olympic Peninsula, few 2 Series but mostly 230 because of the chrome window trim easier to spot. No M240i but M4 are seen mostly every week end.

I parked next to an M2cs yesterday, the first I had seen.
Lots of regular 2s in my neighborhood, though only a small fraction of the total BMW population. |

Honesty I haven't been paying much attention since I just purchased the car, but funny enough I spotted my doppelcär literally the day before buying mine (M240i vert, Estoril blue, black interior) but they had the top up on a beautiful day 😞.

The C&C @ Millers? I was the white 240 parked next to the Hockenheim M2C.

YEAH!! I seen yours lined up those wheels looked fantastic on yours that whole thing was great, I'm just stuck right now wondering how much money/time I want to put into my 230 or just move up and try get a 240 because right now I don't feel like I can be bringing mine out so show around, it's too basic.

Thanks for the compliment - M240 or 230 - doesn't matter - both can look as good as each other. Just depends on what you're going after.
