Something wrong with my eyesight 'cause they look the same size as previous years.
This is just for the non-M-Sport variants. The M-Sport remains exactly the same. Same thing happened with the F30 LCI, they subtly tweaked the non-M-Sport bumper but the M-Sport retained that exact same design and part number.

They just could not leave well enough alone.

And a huge ridiculous not so warm welcome to Chrome as in Chrome fricking everything including Chrome window switches. Yuk As if plastic Chrome is the rage all of a sudden.

I like the led headlights, taillights, and blinkers, but the car should have had these from day one! also, nice to see a nice style of wheel being offered as I never cared for the one that came on the m235. I really, really hope estoril blue is still offered as a color choice.

I think that color is out...

Two new Blues but I highly doubt there will be three Blues offered.

Mediterranean Blue looks awesome.

Will the 240 finally have proper wheels? Ever since the 2er was released, the 235/240 has had those awfully dorky looking wheels.

The hideous 436s were the first thing I replaced so having some decent looking OEM wheels would have been nice.

The 437s are the best looking wheels BMW makes so it seems ironic that those ugly bottle opener spoke 436s are just one digit different.

Meh on the lci, if i wanted digital dials I'd have got an Audi so I don't feel we 2017s missed out on anything

Is that fake stitching on the dash? If it is, were in ford mustang country.

Claiming that interior is more driver focused seems odd.

LCD gauges remind me of the 80s dashboards. Why do manufacturers make lcd dashes look like analog? soon real analog gauges will be a $1000 option.

That would really suck as estoril blue is my all time favorite BMW color. what is the name of the blue in the official pics of the vert? It looks very similar to estoril.

I highly doubt Estoril will be discontinued. The press release says the new Seaside Blue will not be on the M240 and Med. Blue is traditionally not available on the M-sport models anyways.

Interior: Digital cluster I want, new layout of plastic/trim on the dash I do NOT want (it looks terrible). Also the article suggests the new iDrive and carplay are new for the LCI, but these were added in 2017.

Outside: I don't like the new grills at all. Impartial on the rear lights, definitely do NOT like the new headlights. Coming from a F32 with full adaptive LEDs the non-adaptive LEDs look terrible and I'd rather have xenons with full halos then this hexagonal stuff.

Wheels: I want, only because the 436Ms are pretty old at this point and I like having wheel options.
Should be pretty easy for you to swap back with someone who likes the new lights and grills put some cash in your pocket too. I really haven't looked that close .. so if the changes involve bodywork that may not be too easy but really you could go full front bumper and all.

Damn that Sunset Orange looks good, pretty close to the Sahkir Orange, and with those black wheels even better.

I don't like how the new interior is more flat and less round. Looks like a bastard 3 series from the inside. I tried to demonstrate it with paint, the lack of curves and the elevation in design is gone. It's replaced by a dull, flat looking dashboard. Seems like they went backwards

Oh, O.K., thanks.
Since the introduction of the 2-series in 2014, I have seen a total of 0 (as in zero) non-M-Sport variants on the road, so this update is not likely to be a big whoop...

The dash looks awful I don't like the new wheels. And I'm not sure about the rear lights. I was waiting for the LCI for the rear lights hoping they were better than the first generation and I think they're not. Maybe in person looks better

Agree with both of you! Except the only thing I do like is how the instrument panel meets the dash in a more flush fashion. Otherwise, it looks like it came right out of Ingolstadt!

Note how they've eliminated one trim piece on the driver side vent area...saves them $ on that wood/aluminum. Also, the angular dash totally conflicts with the door panels and trim piece shapes!

And they also put the damn steering wheel on the wrong side of the car. Waas up with that?

Ridiculous front lights. A BMW should have round lamps, not these squiggly lines
