Came across this on Facebook race group feed
https://www.facebook.com/groups/3869...4017648425897/ Shows world racing league GTO or open class I have seen a few for sale from time to time for ~ $90k. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2016-bmw-m235i-r/ This M235 sold for $85k last year. Excellent pictures and spec description with this listing on BAT Saw this blog on history of 240r. https://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/20...tomer-racecar/ |

This makes me wonder where capt_and's M240i street/track car build ended up. IIRC, it was a well-done ~$125K build: https://www.2addicts.com/forums/show....php?t=1607481.

There's one on BaT right now, too: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2016-bmw-m235i-r-3/
If I had to guess, prices will come down now that the M2 CSR has completely taken over SRO's TC class. Looks like this one's had a bit of rough life, to be fair. There's not much racing history mentioned, only the WRL 24 hours of Sebring. But even just that -- I had some friends in that same race saying they had to complete rebuild their car from scratch before and after. 24 hours on the bumps there is just brutal...
