One is used to fill slot in the lip for painting ans the other 2 pcs are to cover the paint contrast transition if you have a light colored car. Neither efects the performance. I did not use them since I left lip matte black on MG

Sorry to dig up this thread from the grave. Could anyone tell me what type of screws are used for attachment, also is the double sided tape necessary for the portion that goes under the vents? Is double sided tape included? Thanks.

Are the screws included with the lip or are you using screws that are already on the car?

I would like to know this as well, particularly if double-sided tape is involved. I drive my car in winter, so I would like to take it off during those months for more ground clearance.

IND looks like they make great stuff, but that extra $75 just to have the M-Stripes painted is killer...I bought the vinyl and will go that route with my double slats

Does anyone know where I can get replacement screws for the lip? Dropped one so I need to find a replacement before installing
According to the M Performance install guide, the screws that come with it are 4.8 x 19mm (2) and 4.8 x 25mm (6) I need one of the 4.8x25mm screws and have no clue where to get it. Thanks in advance |

Yes, Double sided tapes are already pre-taped where necessary.. all you have to do it peel before you put it on. Mine came with two different size of Philips screws. so pay attention where it should go. Just my personal experience - I had to hand tight them as power tool did not work for me because of ground clearance.

Regarding the black stickers for the contrast, did people that used them take off their air inlets?
The instructions say to remove them, but doesnt say how. Any help would be appreciated. |
