interested, do you know how this fits with the oem exhaust? i think i recall seeing that I need an aftermarket exhaust or muffler tips so the diffuser doesnt hide the muffer tips

Hi, I'm not 100% sure but I believe the stock muffler pipes won't allow you to extend the stock black chrome tips far enough to reach the edge of the MP diffuser arches... Though it's a pretty simple fix, all you need to do is take the car to a local muffler shop and have them weld more pipe to the stock muffler so that the tips can extend further out.

BMW makes an extension kit specifically for this purpose.

I wonder how much different the dinan exhaust is from the m240 one?

Judging from the pictures on the Dinan website I can tell the muffler is slightly more off center and closer to the right exhaust tip (looking at it head on). The exhaust hanger construction is slightly different as well.
