I just put some LED reverse light bulbs in my 2014 m235i. They flicker on gear change from park to reverse. Once the car is in reverse, the lights light up just fine without any flicker. Much brighter too, definitely a nice upgrade for less than $20

Is there coding I need to do to remove the flicker?

That is for the newer model cars with LED tails to begin with.

The 2018 comes with regular reverse bulbs not LEDs So the link is correct.
You need to code the reverse lights to LED and change the warm/cold to inactive

Do you have a link to the bulbs you used? Not happy with mine, too purple/blue and looking for a bright white.
