Discoloured Bumper Vent Trim
Hi all, first post here.
I have 2014 228i that has some blue discolouration/fading of the lowermost vents/trim pieces on the front bumper. Is this a normal occurrence, should I try warrantying this? |

Aren't you out of the warranty period? That's just from sunlight and road debris, perfectly normal.
You can either get them painted or replace them entirely. Some even use a polish called "Back to Black" so that's another option.

I've tried Back to Black and wasn't really satisfied with the results. Best bet is to replace.

I have had really good results with Forever Black. It is a dye, not goo that makes the trim shine for a week or two and then looks bad again. It requires some care to prep and stain but the results are truly remarkable for faded, chalky discolored trim.
