Nissan, BMW, and Ferrari imply 3 diff statuses in the world we live in. Generally speaking, the person driving the Ferrari is more successful (or has a higher status) than one who drives a Nissan.

Some people work hard at the perception of status and this is more common with younger people. As you get older (or one with more experience in life) you tend to care less about what other people think.

that being said, and more to the point of this thread - Someone that does not care about taking care of their car because it will be someone else's problem demonstrates character and is a good display of the kind of person they are, more so than the kind of car they drive. These are generally the type of people that have more problems in life (bad karma?) but to each his own, its a free world and we need all types of people to make the world go round.
we don't need all types of people. it's just unfortunate to have to many destructive individuals on a planet. Our planet without them would be so much better.

P.S: i know the dictionary meaning of that word. i only tried to explain what I meant saying that.

And i have never seen careless rich people, they are usually smart, educated and responsible (at least in usa). unfortunately in usa i also met a ridiculous amount of retarded immature people, very sad but a fact. they are 30 and they act like they are 16. this is why there are ghetto areas. you point is totally stupid. i bought M235i, because this is what I wanted to buy as my daily driver, has no relation to my ability to buy a ferarri and you didn't even inderstand the point, no surprise though. go ahead destroy your leased car, because it is not yours! good luck! thanks god there are not so many people like you, otherwise we would be still living in stone age or maybe even extincted already.
What you described as "status" is not even remotely close to the definition of someone's "status." That's their character. If you think that wealthy people in the USA are retarded, then you must be an inanimate moron. It ticks me off when people come to this country and criticize how people live their lives. Move away if you have a problem. You are here because we have given you opportunity to even purchase a BMW. Be grateful for the opportunity instead of criticizing the success of others.

On another note, it is a smart financial choice not to put too much effort to care for a leased car. A person leasing a car does not own the car, that is the definition of a lease. So have fun, its not yours!

why the hell are you all referring to "status". I didn't say this word once in my OP. the guy replied with "status" just because he misunderstood what I meant and it started there.

omg, did i ever said WEALTHY people are retarded? maybe you are if you misunderstand every message? you gave me an opportunity? awww, thank you!!! i love how some random citizen like to claim country benefits like he ever participated in anything. all you did is you was lucky enough to be born here, NOTHING else. NO THI NG! totally nothing. nothing. just admit it. coutry is very good, but totally not because of you living in it. Not even mentioning that you are yourself an immigrant pretty much unless you are a NATIVE american, which I doubt. Isn't it so retarded of you to even say "WE gave you an opportunity"? I gave it to myself, all what I am, I have earned, not like you - just was lucky to be born here. so get lost.

P.S: this was extremely nice of you to offer me a better opportunity after 6 years in USA than you offered to yourself after entire life living here. really appreciated. (your opportunity is 228, mine is fully loaded M235). Thank you! THANK YOU! I am totally loving this car!

Haha, I find it so funny how you think that you are wealthier than me. How old are you? You are probably 30+ with no family or life what-so-ever. I am 22 and own 4 cars. A BMW 228, 535, MB E350, and a Honda Accord. I own 4 homes, 2 in Italy and 2 in USA. I only use this forum for my 2 series since my wife has the 5. I am certain that at 22 you had shit compared to me. So do not even start there.

Also I was not lucky to be born here, and I agree that I was an immigrant as well. However, I do not criticize others for having lesser models or lesser income. Everyone that succeeds in the U.S. had to work for it at some point. Do not taint our country by scowling at others. Learn to appreciate what others have before your own. Learn to love, peace.

[QUOTE=m1cism]
pff, i'm 28 and YOU have no life, because you are married! you are only miserable. not even mentioning that at this age your wife probably married you because she liked what your parents have (not you). if your parents gave you some money at 20yo, and you brag about. oh boy, smh. number two: who was comparing wealth?? no seriously? do you have brain condition or sonething? where you found wealth comparison? are you lost in forums or what's your problem man? it is so funny how you try to prove things so immaturely and tell everybody what you own, only proves my opinion about who you are, oh kid, you are just lame big time. get life, please stop fighting, for me it's only funny. that's it. couldnt care less if you ever actually worked for what you own, you won't have any need to prove it here. that was dumb, very dumb.

Yeah I'm done. No need to prove myself anymore after his last statement.

But about break-in, has anyone noticed better MPG after 2,000+ miles?
