With the new E steering, does it still have a steering pump and uses fluid? Is it still belt driven??

Just curious to know

I don't believe the BMW system uses an hydraulic pump. I do think that cars like the Mercedes E class use a hydraulic pump with electrical assist.

Also I have no idea if cars like for instance a new Honda Fit with electrical power steering have any kind of hydraulic fluid in the rack - even without an hydraulic pump, I'm also curious if there is any hydraulic fluid compartmentalized anywhere in the system.
