Hey guys, I've watched pretty much every M235i review video on YouTube. I'm looking for new ones, so I can stay occupied till I get my own M235i

Yikes !!! Dealer told me 2-3 months. Can you tell me what exact dates did your order, receive the car, etc ? I suspect if you ordered just before the holiday season, it might have taken forever ?

I'm shopping around right now too and dealer is telling me about 3 months.

I plan to buy in Feb/March so I get it after winter.

Wait might have been longer before the Holidays, as the last production run was around December.

I ordered my car on civic holiday (Aug 2, 2014) and at that time the dealer had said delivery by mid-Oct. However, I ordered a RWD car and the dealer said the factory was focusing on building AWD cars in Sept and Oct so my production was pushed to Nov. My car was built on Nov 27, 2014 and I was able to track it as it crossed the Atlantic (http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1068910). The car arrived in Newmarket, ON last Tuesday and I took delivery on Friday.

Thanks, that's interesting. So, I guess it depends on what they feel like building in the factory at any given time ? That's disheartening

Does anyone know what the factory is in the mood to build, these days, like right now ?

Well, if you got your production number already, then it should be getting built this month or in Feb, right? Since you're American you should be able to track your car's progress on the BMWUSA portal online. Us Canadians don't have that luxury.

Thanks, yeah, I suppose that being able to track it is better than nothing. I'm totally new to this whole process (this is my first BMW), so I'll take your word for it - that since I got my prod #, it will get built reasonably soon.

Port Hueneme, right ? Do you live pretty far from this port ? Why 11 days to delivery ? Who gave you the pickup date ? The dealership ? Or did you track it somewhere and estimate it ?

I live 40 miles from this port, and I'd expect a much quicker turnaround than 11 days from arrival at port.

As that's also a slight tip for you which I didn't know for a whole - going Into sport mode opens the stock valve (same as this aftermarket system now)
