Hi: I took the car yesterday to a Brampton BMW dealer, the closest to me. It was an hour and a half drive, 6 hours wasted, all told. I specifically asked them to check the strut bearings, wheel bearings, driveshaft, and differential. They did none of this. They told me the air filter was red (they have a checklist - green, yellow, red). The air filter had been replaced April 26. The tires, though the tread was 8/32, were "feathered". They kept talking about "aftermarket" suspension (Bilsteins). The brakes were rusty. When I drive the car once a week in these troubled times, of course the brakes are rusty.
A complete waste of 6 hours and $68. Never again. Either they are idiots, or they presumed I am an idiot.

My only surprise is that it was only $68.

My dealer charges $135 to do nothing.
