Xmas lights, no joy. Green LED bulb on turns, nope.
So, in my quest (on the cheap) for amber tails, I first tried amber LEDs. Good light projection, but not really amber. Just another shade of red.
So I ordered one green LED. On the bench it is super-bright (see pic.) But in the housing, a dim amber. The red+green=yellow worked, but the red filters out too much light. Just posting so someone else can save the time on a fail. |
